Acabamos de lançar a segunda música pelo selo 1605 Music Therapy, um dos maiores selos do techno mundial. A faixa escolhida foi “About Time”, que agora faz parte da compilação The Riot, último lançamento do selo.

Sonho realizado ou resultado de trabalho bem feito ? Ambos! Não desmerecendo as já chacotas “versões”, “mashups”, “remixes” ou qualquer nome que sub entenda pegar uma música, inserir um loop e dizer que é “produção própria”, nós, da dupla Pe (Renê Castanho – DJ, Produtor e Instrutor de Ableton Live na DJBan) e Ban (William Schiavon – DJ e Diretor do Grupo DJBan) optamos sempre a mostrar um trabalho original, mesmo se fosse a versão de alguém. Nosso foco portanto é o mercado mundial… E a entender um pouco mais o fato hilário acima mas atual em que se encontra a Dance Music no Brasil em se tratando da “massa produtora”, os elogios e apoios de quem entende “ainda menos” é local, e aí, vai de onde pra onde ? Digo, essas versões que nem licenciadas podem ser, claro. Faz a versão e toca, ouve o “toca muito” e fica por isso mesmo. Quem faz o trabalho de verdade está de parabéns mas não inclui apenas fazer a música no fone, finalizar mal, subir pro SoundCloud e que venha a próxima, tipo pastelaria. Seguindo exemplo dos grandes nomes gringos e nacionais pois temos muitos, há todo o trabalho de uma empresa mesmo: Equipamentos adequados, investimento na finalização, planejamento, marketing, objetivos e resultados… Sim, ao exemplo desses, queremos um pouco mais… E um dos resultados apareceu como presente de Natal do papai Noel Umek: Pe And Ban, em apenas um ano de trabalho lançando pelo 1605, um dos maiores da atualidade. Melhor ainda por ser inserido em meio a nomes que surgem do nada mas com grande potencial e nomes já conhecidos.
Se uma dupla de brasileiros conseguisse essa façanha há 10 anos, seria como “missão impossível”, além de ser notícia em qualquer lugar que falasse de música eletrônica. Anos se passaram, tecnologia mais acessível a todos e hoje temos uma dupla em meio a quem sabe, 10.000 produtores, e desses tantos, uns 50 (será?) que conseguiram alcançar o mesmo pódio, porém lançar ou tocar lá fora não é mais notícia pra ninguém. Ocorre que começamos de baixo como vários, passamos por selos como BWG, Intech, Nervine, Twisted, Putz, Techno Mafia, AudioBuzzz e “muitos” outros, logo, para nós está sendo notícia desde Junho/09 quando em menos de seis meses de trabalho conseguimos ter a música mais vendida do selo Naked Lunch com a (Trauma) e ter feedback a uma das músicas (Foco) por ninguém menos que Laurent Garnier.
Como nada é por acaso, o nome da compilação de 26 músicas é algo que tem a ver com o que ocorre por aqui há algum tempo, mude apenas a palavra futuro.
